FRICTION & STEEL DISCS

Industrial Brake are the Australian distributor for FMC.

FMC are an OE quality global manufacturer and distributor of wet friction discs. FMC use their expertise to provide solutions for transmission and brake performance within the heavy duty industry.

FRICTION & STEEL DISCS

  • Durability: Made from high-strength and long-lasting materials to withstand high friction and pressure.
  • Precision: Provides consistent friction values to allow for controlled movement and torque management.
  • Cost-Effective Maintenance: Reliable for long periods, reducing the need for frequent services and replacements.

Long-Life Paper

Our LONG-LIFE friction paper is designed for use in FINAL DRIVES AND BRAKES with an enhanced structure that provides superior
energy capacity, stable performance across a wide range of temperatures and pressures, and extended disc life.

Its low static and dynamic coefficients deliver smoother engagement than the genuine product, while its durable composition ensures low wear and long service life.

LOWER WEAR RATE:

Improved compression distributes load evenly, reducing stress, heat, and material wear.

ANTI-NOISE AND VIBRATION:

Optimised surface design minimises stick-slip, delivering smooth and quiet operation.

HIGH ENERGY CAPABILITY:

Handles heavy thermal and energy loads for consistent performance in demanding duty cycles.

WEAR RESISTANT:

Durable fibre matrix extends service life and reduces maintenance costs.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • AVERAGE FRICTION COEFFICIENT (WET)

Wheel brakes, Transmissions, Power Shift and Power Take off transmissions.

Carbon Plus

CARBON PLUS is an advanced carbon friction material designed for use in TRANSMISSIONS AND DIFFERENTIALS based on natural and synthetic fibres and fillers strengthened by a unique resin binder.

It provides superior heat resistance and anti-wear performance under severe power conditions with varying pressures and temperatures.

SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE:

High energy capability, stable coefficient of friction over speed and pressure providing smooth engagement and superior NVH performance.

UNRIVALED DURABILITY:

Built to last, this material excels in high wear situations, reducing maintenance costs and extending the lifespan of equipment.

IDEAL FOR MINING TRANSMISSIONS:

Designed to withstand the demanding needs of mining operations. Able to withstand higher temperatures than F37 and graphite

SPECIFICATIONS

  • AVERAGE FRICTION COEFFICIENT (WET)
    Static: 0.09 – 0.14
